Holy crap though, Final Fantasy Character designs are CRAMMED FULL of detail, and I didn't have a small enough pencil/ big enough drawing to get as much in there as I wanted. I remember that in the French version there is a traduction mistake where Zidane become Djidane x)

The footballer did come up when I was doing a wiki search for the FF character, and I was surprised that 'Zidane' seems to be an actual name, and not just one the FF people made up.
